EDTL – Electricidade de Timor Leste
EDTL is the abbreviation of Electricidade de Timor Leste, which equals to Electricity of Timor Leste, a governmental organ.
It is obliged to control and in charge of the national power grid. It has several branches and offices in different cities. Meanwhile, it runs in line with substations in Dili, Manatuto, Maliana, Liquiçá, Viqueque, etc.
There’s also a national dispatching center in Dili that belongs to EDTL. But everything is developing and improving right now. EDTL is the national power grid in Timor Leste.
the high-voltage transmission lines of EDTL cover 150 KV and 20 KV. And the whole diagram of the 150 KV transmission lines in Timor Leste is around its costal lines. the 20 KV transmission lines orginate from substations to households.
